NEW ALBUM COMING OUT

Hi Everyone, Trevor here. We have a new album coming out. Called ‘The Escape Club Live,’ it’s a recording of a gig we played in Hertford in the UK last year. It will be available for streaming from June 12th. We’ll release a CD further on down the track.

It was a special gig for us as it was the last one Johnnie Christo was able to play before he passed away. It was a magical night and I’m really pleased we could capture a recording from the desk. With us were Ian Curnow (Ex Talk Talk) on keys. Ian was in a band with me years ago and it’s a true pleasure to be playing with him again. We produced and mixed the recording together under our production name of ‘The Cruise Brothers.’ Joining with us were Joe Bailey on Guitar and Andy Peek on drums with a guest appearance of Charlotte Christo, Johnnie’s daughter singing backing vocals on ‘Walking Through Walls.’ It was great to meet some of our old UK fans. We don’t get to play in the home country that much so thanks to everyone who came along and made it a special night.

I’ve just finished a fantastic tour of Australia. Playing with long-time gig friends, Wang Chung. Surprisingly it was the first time The Escape Club has played down under. The audience were great and thanks to all you Aussies who came to see us. It’s definitely something I’d like to do again!

More gigs in the USA are in the pipeline and I’ll announce as soon as they’re confirmed.

That’s it for now. Please come and say hello if you are at an Escape Club gig. It’s always nice to meet you.
